Another ‘Beasts of No Nation’ cast Dike spotted after story of Strika went viral

YEN.com.gh has sighted photos of another Ghanaian cast of Netflix movie, ‘Beasts of No Nation’ after reports came in that one other actor of the movie, Emmanuel Quaye, had turned into a street beggar.

One other actor who played the role of Dike, in the movie but known in real life as Emmanuel Afadzi, has been spotted and he is living a different life.

The young actor who is noted for the beginning scenes with Abraham Attah after they tried selling a TV set to some law enforcement personnel has now moved on and is looking all grown up.

According to reports, after starring in ‘Beasts of No Nation’, Emmanuel Afadzi, landed another role in a movie directed by multi-talented German film maker, York–Fabian Raabe.

The movie is believed to be titled, ‘Borga’ and the crew and cast just finished shooting it. Emmanuel Afadzi was spotted in a picture which is reported to have been taken from one of the scenes of his new movie.

Emmanuel Afadzi or Dike, as he was known in the movie, played in the scene where he was seen displaying his talent on an ‘imagination TV’ he, together with Agu (Abraham Attah), wanted to sell to some people.

Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that another actor, Emmanuel Quaye, who played Strika in ‘Beasts of No Nation’, was seen on the streets of Accra begging for alms.

Checks, however, revealed that Strika had run away from a school he was enrolled in and was on a mission to make money on the streets.

After a wide-ranging interview with Accra-based GH One TV, Strika revealed that his share of the profits accrued from the movie, believed to be in the region of $30,000, had been locked up by some people and he wanted to retrieve it.

However, managers of the young actor released a press statement outlining a number of things to the general public in relation to Emmanuel Quaye’s life after the breakthrough movie.

Management of Strika reiterated the point that the actor’s money was still intact, and he could access it with a valid ID card.

Even though Strika had starred in another movie with some of Ghana’s top actors and actresses, he noted that he was paid GH¢1,000 for the job which was used to buy a suit for him.

His caretakers have however come out to clarify matters relating to finances and have revealed that the actor was in good hands.
